Description

This is currently the only natural dye product on our website that does not come from a plant based source. Cochineal is actually whole dried scale insects that spend their lives on cactus plants, don’t worry though, these bugs are not still living and are very much ready to make brilliant red colours in your fabrics!

Latin name – Dactylopius coccus
