Our natural Madder powder or crushed root is made from the dried and processed roots of the madder plant. It is known for producing strong and vibrant red shades in garments and fibres. Depending on the hardness of the water used when dyeing, and how well a mordant is used in preparing your fibres, madder can produce shades of brick orange, yellows, browns and deep red.
